The date is locked in. On 2/8/14 the Rangeley region will show the world we are the best. We will take on Minnesota and all for a good cause. All proceeds will go directly to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Northern New England. Festivities will start at Bald Mountain Camps at 11am with a fenced in area for children to ride demo mini snow machines. Also at 11am the BBQ on the ice will start and is open to everyone. There will be a staging area for all of the machines. At 1:15 we will make sure all machines are lined up for the still picture on the lake. The helicopter pictures will begin once the ride starts at 1:45. We will travel 30 miles encompassing Oquossoc and Rangeley.
We will return to Bald Mountain Camps for an after ride “Concert on the Ice.” Fireworks will start after the sun goes down. We need lots of riders, volunteers and sponsors.

Okay, so a snowstorm affects a snowmobile event….who’d a’ thought?! Of course, it was a fairly historic little storm! Nonetheless, we sincerely appreciate those that were able to join in…. We might not have beaten MN’s world record but we did raise over $6,500. for the good work of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. And, we were all charmed by the very personable five year old Ayisha! Help us make this very worthy event an annual tradition. What a great excuse for taking a ride in Rangeley, Maine!

Sooo….no world record THIS time but you can bet we’ll do this again! THANK YOU to all who were able to participate despite that “little storm of 2/8/13”, raising over $6,500. for Cystic Fibrosis research. It was a joy to meet charming five year old Ayisha who put a face to what we were doing! Please join us next year, February 8, 2014, for our next attempt at the Minnesota record. For this year, we’re very happy with the good and THE GOOD FEELINGS this event provided. Hope you can join in next year!
