Rangeley Maine Fishing has started with a bang!

Posted by on Apr 23, 2012 in News | 0 comments

I was fortunate enough to sit with a group for lunch at the Oquossoc Grocery a few days ago and the talk turned to fishing. Fish are being caught on Rangeley in the five and six pound range. Mooselookmeguntic seems to start a little slower but a nice 21 inch male salmon was landed and released in about ten feet of water. The lake is coming up after the heavy rain last night. The smelts are running so now is the time to come to Rangeley. Tight lines everyone.
